MOSCOW (Reuters) – Analysts polled by Russia’s central bank have slightly raised their expectations for the average key rate in 2024, now forecasting it to reach 17.3% compared to their previous estimate of 17.1%, the bank said on Wednesday.
The Bank of Russia is expected to raise its benchmark interest rate by another 100 basis points to 20% at its Oct. 25 meeting, a Reuters poll of analysts showed this month.
