(Reuters) – Italian renewable energy company ERG said on Monday it had signed a power purchase agreement with ENGIE to supply the French energy firm with 220 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity over a five-year period.
The annual energy supply included in the contract is 44 GWh and the energy will be generated by its wind farms in Italy, ERG added.
“This new agreement strengthens our partnership with ENGIE, a global leader in energy solutions, with whom we have already signed PPAs in the UK and France,” ERG CEO Paolo Merli said.
