BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Europe and the United States will be able to work out their differences like they have done in the past, even though recent remarks from the U.S. administration have caused worries, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said on Monday.
“It’s clear that the statements coming from United States make us all worried,” Kallas said after a meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers in Brussels.
“We have had differences before, but we have always managed to sort them out, and we also expect to do so this time. We are reaching out to (the new) American administration.”
