BEIJING (Reuters) -The head of China’s securities regulator said on Wednesday that U.S. tariff policy has brought great pressure to China’s capital markets and will forcefully promote long-term capital into the stock market.
The attractiveness of Chinese assets is increasing amid global uncertainties, Wu Qing, chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission, told a news briefing.
China will help A-share listed companies affected by tariffs to cope with difficulties, said Wu.
