COPENHAGEN (Reuters) -Norwegian salmon farming group Grieg Seafood said on Thursday it had agreed to sell its operations in Norway’s Finnmark and in Canada to Mitsubishi unit Cermaq for 10.2 billion crowns ($993 million).
“The sale allows Grieg Seafood to concentrate its focus on the Rogaland region in Western Norway,” it said in a statement.
Grieg Seafood said it expects to close the deal in the fourth quarter.
