Pakistani military helicopter crashes in north, killing four

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) -A Pakistani military helicopter crashed in the northern Gilgit-Baltistan region bordering China and India on Monday, killing four personnel including two pilots, a military official said.

The aircraft went down near Hudur village while flying from Gilgit, the main town of the mountainous region, to Chilas, a city on the Indus River that connects the north to the rest of Pakistan, after developing a technical fault, the official told Reuters.

One soldier managed to jump clear and survived, he added.
