Thailand’s government could deliver policy plan to parliament as soon as Sept 29

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s new cabinet could deliver its policy statement to parliament as soon as September 29, Paradorn Prissananantakul, a senior official with the ruling Bhumjaithai party, said on Friday.

A discussion next week between three party whips will determine the exact date of the address, which will take place between September 29 to October 1, Paradorn said.

The new cabinet’s policy statement to parliament is an important part of the political process that enables the administration to fully take up its duties and formally commence governing.
