JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) -South African retail sales rose 2.3% year-on-year in August after rising by a revised 5.7% in July, Statistics South Africa figures showed on Wednesday.
Seasonally adjusted retail sales fell 1.2% month-on-month in August.
