LONDON (Reuters) -NATO’s Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Friday he discussed the issue of sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine with U.S. President Donald Trump and it is still under review.
“On particularly, the Tomahawks, of course, the President and I discussed that. The issue remains under review by the President and again, it’s up to the U.S to decide,” said Rutte.
He said it was up to each ally country to decide which weapons it would deliver to Ukraine and that the U.S. has been providing and will continue providing a wide range of weapons.
Rutte travelled to London to meet with leaders of the “Coalition of the Willing”, a group of countries supporting Ukraine.
