UK house prices edged up by 0.1% in January, Nationwide says

LONDON (Reuters) – British house prices rose by a weaker-than-expected 0.1% in January compared with December, according to data published by mortgage lender Nationwide on Friday.

A Reuters poll of economists had pointed to a 0.3% month-on-month increase.
