Ugandan shilling steady; importer dollar demand low

KAMPALA (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday with dollar demand from merchandise importers and commercial banks subdued, traders said.

At 0925 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,675/3,685, same level as Friday’s closing rate.
