Four civilians killed in Ukrainian attack on Russia’s Kursk region, governor says

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Four civilians were killed and two others wounded in a Ukrainian attack on Wednesday on a feed mill in Russia’s western Kursk region, the governor said.

Three men and one woman, employees at the mill in Kozyrevka, died, Alexander Khinshtein wrote on Telegram. One of the injured had been hospitalised, he said.

Battles between Russian and Ukrainian troops are under way in Kursk, where Russian troops have made major gains in recent days in their push to drive out Ukrainian forces who have been clinging onto a slice of the region since last August.
