BOSTON (Reuters) – Immigrant rights advocates asked a federal judge in Boston on Wednesday to block the Trump administration from sending migrants subject to final orders of deportation to Libya or any country en route to there, including Saudi Arabia.
The advocates made the request to a federal judge who had barred the administration from swiftly deporting migrants to countries other than their own without first hearing any concerns they had that they might be tortured or persecuted if sent there.
