(Reuters) -Indian lender Karnataka Bank on Monday said Chief Operating Officer Raghavendra Srinivas Bhat will act as interim managing director and chief executive officer for a period of three months.
Former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Srikrishnan Hari Hara Sarma resigned on June 29, citing personal reasons and triggering a slump in the lender’s shares.
Raghavendra Srinivas Bhat, who has been with the bank for more than three decades, was appointed COO in June.
