SANTIAGO (Reuters) -Mining operations at Glencore’s Lomas Bayas copper mine in Chile are continuing as usual as emergency teams work to put out a fire which broke out in a waste yard, the unit said on Wednesday.
The fire, which started around midday on Tuesday, has weakened in recent hours and remains contained to the area, Lomas Bayas said in a statement.
