ROME (Reuters) -Italy’s aerospace and defence group Leonardo reported on Wednesday double-digit growth for orders, revenues and core profit in the first nine months of the year compared to 2024.
The state-controlled group’s results were lifted by a support and training contract for the Kuwaiti air force’s Eurofighter programme, as well as increasing revenues in its electronics and helicopter divisions.
“The results for the first nine months of 2025 confirm the group’s positive performance. Steady volume growth and solid profitability continue to underpin our competitive positioning in both domestic and international markets,” Chief Executive Roberto Cingolani said in a statement.
The state-controlled group confirmed the guidance for 2025, which was raised in July.
