LONDON (Reuters) -British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he had yet to speak to Donald Trump after the U.S. president said he would sue the BBC for up to $5 billion over how the broadcaster wrongly edited a video of a speech he gave in 2021.
Trump said on November 15 he would call Starmer, with whom he has built a solid relationship.
“I think he was going to phone me at the weekend but that call didn’t happen, but we regularly have contact,” BBC News reported Starmer as saying on Friday.
“I speak to him fairly regularly as you know, [we] have an excellent relationship.”
