KALAMATA, Greece (Reuters) – Nine people have been arrested over a deadly migrant shipwreck off Greece this week, a Greek shipping ministry official told Reuters on condition of anonymity on Thursday.
The official said that Greek authorities have arrested nine Egyptians who are accused of setting up a criminal organisation, migrant smuggling and causing a shipwreck.
